i-485 approved, July RD

I got i-485 approval notice for me and my wife yesterday.
These are my details :
Labor filed(PD): 05/03/2000
Labor Approved : 06/06/2000
I-140 filed : 08/10/2000
I-140 approved : 12/20/2000
I-485:07/06/2001, ND 08/24/2001(WAC-01-266-XXXXX)
Finger Print(Scheduled and Done) : 12/18/2001 (Oakland)
AVM processing resumed on 01/17/2002
Approved on 03/07/1002 ( AVM still says processing resumed message)

Thanks to PCee, rsrgc and others for putting a lot of useful
information in this site. I visit this site often.I am not in PCee list.

How come there is a big gap between I140 approval and 485 filiing?

I was single when I got my I-140 approved.

I filed I-485 after I got married. My category is EB2. So
it was current when I-140 was approved.
