Hi,
Both my I-140 and I-485 were filed at CSC on March 7, 2005 concurrently. Currently my I-485 is approved but I-140 is still pending
Yeterday I received the online ALERT for the approval of I-485 as follows:
********
Application Type: I485 , Application to Register Permanent Residence or to
Adjust Status
Current Status:
On June 7, 2005, after approving your application, we ordered you a new card.
Your card will be mailed to you as soon as it is ready
*********
I searched on the web and found some incidence like this in Texas service center only. However there is no definite answer to this mystry.
I called up my lawyer company and the attorny's assist told me that mine is the very first case of its nature that she has heard
She said ususally either I-140/I-485 is approved concurrently or I-140 is approved first.
Has anybody else experience this before or heard of getting I-485 approved when I-140 is pending as shown on the online status? My I-140 is EB3 category. No RFE so far.
Please update me. Thanks!
