I received my I 140approval under EB1 and subsequently filed I-485 (Texas Service Center, priority date "Current") for myself and my spouse on 26 Sep 2006.
I received my 485 approval notice in Feb2007.
My spouse's application is yet to be approved. The processing dates for I-485 according to the 15 Sep 2007 bulletin is Dec 19 2006. Is there any way to figure out why my spouse's application is getting delayed? Is such delay common? When both applications (I 485 for self and spouse) were filed together, how come one application got adjudicated and the other is still pending (for over 8 months)?
