Here is my TIP. It may helpful for people going for pp stamping in San Jose INS:-

People going to San Jose INS for PP stamping. No need to go early OR wait in long queue. You can go around 7AM or 8AM and stand in appointment queue. If you have INS approval letter. it is like an appointment letter.

Got a question. In your case, it only took one week for approval
after the case had been assigned to officer. How did you know the
case was ever assigned to officer? thanks. -Greg7008
