approval date: 03/04/2002

thank you for roger and others for all the valueble info. looks like i can apply for the I485 right now and be able to add my wife into it later as long as I hold off on my fingerprinting until after I get married (to play it safe).

An now you are saying that you did your FP on 01/11/2002!!! If you already finished fp on 01/11 why you wrote above message on 01/30?

Can you please provide correct data?

wow, great catch PCee, the "adding spouse after I-485 filing" was
actually for my brother. i just thought that it will be
lesser confusion if i put the query in as the first person.
i hope that i have not offended anyone in the process.
my case was the second one which took 3 years but finally
was approved on 3/4/2002 again, thanks to everybody in the
group for sharing info and helping each other in the process.
