I-485 approved finally...

Mine is pretty old case. I almost lost hope in the long wait. It took about 4 years 6months since the start of the process. Looks like there is indeed light at the end of the tunnel. I am not on Ciba\'s list, though have been a frequent visitor to this site lately.Here\'s my details.
EB3 RIR (INDIA)
PD : 6/98
ND : 12/99
FP : 3/28/01
RFE : 9/25/01 (requested proof of employment)
RFE replied on 10/1/01
AVM updated with RFE received : 11/14/01
I-485 finally approved on 11/30/01 (as per AVM)
Does anybody know how much time it takes to receive the approval notices on the mail.

Finally I feel a sense a freedom. Sincere thanks to everyone on this board for bringing us together. Special kudos to Ciba for doing such a splendid and selfless job.

congrats! good to hear that the ordeal ies over for u finally.
 i think last year there were a lot of approvals around this time. let us hope INS gives us christmas gift.
