our I-485 was approved on 01/16/2007, received the approval notice. they said "do not take any action at this time. we will send you the notice for biometrics. still waiting????????

any idea

congrats...they will send u a biometrics and after that u will get the card...

can u share with us ur case history...eb category...when was the last FP given and all info which would help others in the forum...

Gogi,

Did you get your biometrics yet. My case was approved on Jan 30. I did not get any biometrics. They said do not take any action and wait for the biometrics letter. If I am not mistaken, someone else posted that he got his approval letter and soon he got his biometrics too. Pls post you got your biometrics or not. I do not know to call them ask for that.

been waiting for my bio letter for 4 months. so it is not as quick as you think it is. at least in this case. hope yours comes faster.

In the approval letter they mentioned about 90 days time to receive biometrics, why don't you call them and find out. Another waiting? (please do not think I am stupid, but What about work permit and all? Do we have to renew it, because my husband works on work permit and will expire in July, they need another document to prove he is eligible to work, Is it Ok to show them the approval letter or any other suggestions? Pls confirm, anybody, somebody

I called several times and still nothing. You can get a stamp in your passport which is used instead of the owrk permit.
