I 485 approved BUT......

Hey guys, I need some help.
My I485 was approved on May 2nd. Need to get the I-511 PP stamp.
On the same day my wife travelled abroad on a valid H4 visa, Her I 485 is clubbed with mine as a dependant, but there was no news regarding her I 485 approval;
Now I am worried that if I go to the INS local office;1) will they take my I 94 card, 2) will they cancell my valid H1 visa; 3) I know they will stamp my PP with the I511 stamp; BUT
Since my wife left the US on a H4; then will her visa get null and void as my H1 is cancelled? We have not applied for AP, as our lawyer said that we need not worry as long as we have valid H1 and H4 visas. We had our EADs but never activated it, as we had valid H1 visas.
Please do respond urgently!!! Have my INOPASS for Wed11th.

Your H-1B is invalid already because you are approved. Her case is not approved she should have no problems entering on her H visa. WHen you go for your passport stamping they will ask for your EAD, I-94's.
Take 2 passport photos also.
 
IMP-Can H4 be valid after primary H1 becomes I485 approved

Hey thanks for the tip BUT...
I did not understand. The H1 is valid till July 05 and I ahve never used the EAD card. Does that mean that when the I 485 got approved the H1 is invalid. That I could understand. But then what of my wife who has a H4 visa, not a H1 and is abroad. Can she travel back on a H4 ( her I 485 is still pending) . Let mew know ASAP I have my infopass fopr wed 11th may.

Hey guys, Please answer my questions.

If my I-485 is approved does that mean my H1 is cancelled even though I am yet to appear at the local office. My wife has a H4 and was here in the US till last week and went abroad. Now is she stuck, becoz my I 485 was approved.?
What if I go for the I-511 stamp only after she returns-does that change the equation?

Please answer? Im in severe doubts!!!!

News Update- Got My G Card

Its been a nerve racking month. My wife just returned from abroad. There was no hazzle at all at immigration. Her H4 is still valid even though my H1 was invalid after my I 485 was approved. I received my G card today and that ends the story with a Happy Ending!!!!!

applied for I 140/ EB-1 category Jan 03
applied for I 485 May 03

I-140 approved Jan 25th
I-485 approved May 2nd
I 551 stamped on passport may 17th

Hope this helps guys who are in my predicament!!!! alz ;) :D
