Hello all,
Our (me and my wife\'s) I-485 petitions have been approved on January 17th, 2001.
We went and did our stamping in Boston INS today (Wed January 24th, 2001).
Here are the details :
India, EB3, VSC
Priority Date : August, 1996
Employer : New Jersey
Labor Done : April 1999.
I-140 Done : August 1999.
I-485 applied : 20th Sep, 1999 (Receipt Date),
4th Oct, 1999 (Notice Date)
EAC-00-002-5xxxx (for both of us)
FP Done : August 2000, New York (Please note that I am one of the few
people of VSC who have Oct 99 ND but still got
FP notice)
Since moved to Boston area for new Project.
I-485 approved : January 17th, 2001.
Heard it on AVM : Sunday January 21st. Was really happy that there was
no RFE at all.
Courtesy Copy Received by mail at home : Monday January 22nd, 2001.
Stamping Done with Courtesy Copy of Approval Notice at Boston INS :
today Wednesday 24th January , 2001.
(Note that Courtesy Copy is accepted at Boston INS)
Stamping Experience was very nice.
We were told that actual Card nowadays take between 3 to 9 months.
Called VSC only once for change of address since we moved from New York area to Boston area.
Obviously very happy that it is finally over.
