I-485 approved and passport stamped

FYI, here\'s a summary of my whole history.

At NSC:

I-140 (NIW) applied for: June 97
RFE: Oct. 97
Evidence sent: Nov. 97
NIW denied: Jan. 98
Decision appealed: Feb. 98
Appeal upheld: Sep. 98 (Board of Appeals sent me a copy of the 3-page letter to NSC
arguing why I deserved the waiver. I couldn\'t have written it better!)
I-140 approved by NSC: Oct. 98

I\'d moved to VSC jurisdiction by this time.

At VSC:

I-485 RD: 12/17/98, ND: 12/23/98, EB-2 (NIW) India
FP done: 5/18/99
Called IIO for change of address procedure: end June 00
My I-485 approved: 7/7/00
Wife called IIO to confirm change of address: 8/3/00
Wife\'s I-485 approved: 8/8/00

No RFE or any other contact with IIO.

Passport stamped: 8/21/00 at Arlington, VA. Went there at 7:30 and got out at 1 PM. The IIO
took our EADs and my AP (none of which was actually used) and gave us back the I-94.

Thanks to RSK and everyone here for keeping us all informed. Please email me with any questions.

I have a similar case like you. Can you tell me if I can go to any INS office for passport stamping or I have to go to the jurisdiction I applied at. I applied form NJ but am in the mid west now. My case is approved from SC.
