I-485 approved 5 days after 140's approval!

Hi, all

Couple days ago I posted that my I-140 was approved on July 9 after 15 months. Today my I-485 is approved, so amazing, never dreamed it will happen that fast! Might be a good sign for concurrent filing at Texas Service Center.

Here is my info, hope everyone will be as lucky as I am!

I-140: RD, 3/17/2003; AD: 7/9/2004, no RFE
I-485: RD, 9/12/2003; AD: 7/14/2004; FP: 11/22/2003

NIW (EB2)

Good luck to everyone, I know it has been difficult for all of us. Now I can visit my parents for the first time in five years!

I am very happy for you. Can you please tell me if yours are concurrent filing? As I have my I-140 and I485 concurrently filed with receipt dates of 03/17/2003 but I have no news at all!

EB-2 (NIW) Concurrent Filing

I-140: RD 3/11/03 AD: 7/9/04 no RFE (LUD was 5/29/03 till 7/12/04)
I-485: RD 3/11/03 FP: 5/3/03 AD: 7/14/04 no RFE (LUD was 5/29/03 till 7/14/04)

Only one inquiry on June 8 (No response)

PenPen and Me (SpeelLimit5) are both EB-2 National Interest Waiver (NIW)

I'm sure you will be next!

I filed my I-485 six months after I-140, I think it is still considered as concurrent filing. Your I-140 basically has the same RD with mine, hope you will have the good news soon too!

My BCIS account profile was updated on 7/14/2004, the previous update was on 4/12/2004, which was due to my Advance Parole (approved on that day). However, my wife's 485 still hasn't been approved, accordingly the last update is still 4/12/2004 in her case. Apparently, her case hasn't been touched yet, which is different from what Speedlimit5 has (both his and his family's 485 were approved at the same time). Hope my wife's I-485 will also get approved in the coming days and I will keep it posted if so.

I-140 and I485 approved on the same day.!!!

My I-140 and I-485 approved on 07/14/2004.
I've received the mails from USCIS.

Is anybody know how often they update USCIS web site?

USCIS updates

They update the USCIS dates around 6th and 22nd of each month. Updates appear on AILA site earlier than USCIS site. U will know when the update comes if you keep reading posts on this forum.

Well, it is great to hear some good news about I-140 and 485 approvals after a while and that is what awaked me up from my dreams of going for CP. I have filed my I-140 with CP option (which doesn’t seem good now days). I was just scared from filing 10 EADs & APs before getting I-485 approved and that was the main reason I opted for CP.

I started thinking about changing my I-140 petition from CP to AOS. Whatcha think? Would this be a good move? Help?
