I-485 approved 4 days before EAD expired

Hi,
My I-485 has been approved (i got an email regardign this) 4 days before my EAD expired. Can i continue to work even though i don't have the I-551 stamp on my passport?.

Will it create any problem when i go for stamping?.

My plastic card lists me as a permanent resident from Nov. 17 2004 although my I-485 approval notice is dated Nov. 18 2004. Passport stamping occured on Dec. 2 2004 and plastic card received on Dec. 20 2004. If other people on the forum have a similar experience, it means you are legally a permanent resident once the I-485 is approved.

Yes you can legally work now.

Congratulations! I think it should be legal to continue to work. Mine was approved three weeks before my EAD expires. Even though I haven't done passport stamping, I don't worry about it.
