I-485 Approval trend.

I think now I-485 approval is done based on FP date.

My case
RD - 08/2001
ND - 11/2001
FP 01/03

Approved on 02/01/2004. Two of my collegues also applied around the same time frame but FP were done during 02/03 and 04/03. One of the collegue got his I-485 apporval on 02/02/2004. while other whose FP was done in 04/2003 is still waiting although his RD - 05/03/2003 ( currently INS is doing 05/08/2003)

At least 4 of my friends who hae applied their I-485 during 2003 but their FP were done prior to 03/2003, got their approval notice in past 2/3 days.

Good luck for everyone especially those whose FP was done during 03/2003 to 05/2003.

Patience will definitely give you the FREEDOM.
 
:) Wish your analysis is true. You never know with TSC (the totally screwed up service center).

Your analysis could be true even if it is NOT fair. Many 2002 and even early 2003 guys did their FP much before some of the early 2001 guys (like me)!!
 
I am not sure you are correct as I have friends who had RD 8/01 who were approved. They did their FP's several months after me. My RD is Feb/02 and I am still waiting. I think it's by RD.
 
Hi! It has nothing to done with FP date. I did mine in Aug/02 and INS go the results back in Nov/02, but did not get the approval. Still waiting like any others......
