I-485 approval process

Hi gurus,

Please forgive my ignorance but I\'m ne to this section since my I-140 just got approved.I have a few questions and would appreciate any input on these

1. How long does i t take to from the date of filing to recieve:
   a. EAD b. AP c. FP
2. How long does it take for I-485 to get approved from teh date of filing at NSC

3. After 485 is approved, when will you get the actual green card?

Timings

You can go to immitracker.com and get approximate idea, here are rough timelines...(disclaimer: do not depend much upon this and subject to change anytime without any notice!)

EAD/AP -about 6-8 weeks to 3/4 months
FP - about within 6-8 months
485-approval - about a year to 18 months
actual greencard - about 1 month to 1 year after 485 approval

a. EAD - 3-4 months
b. AP - 3-4 months
c. FP - 3-12 months

2. How long does it take for I-485 to get approved from teh date of filing at NSC

Apply for I-485 and forget about it for at least 1 year and then
dork around these discussion groups every day.

3. After 485 is approved, when will you get the actual green card?

It is too soon for you to even think about actual green card :)
