I 485 approval on 10/04

Hello -

I have a personal good news to share with this forum. I checked my status today to find approval on 10/04/03. It took 4 1/2 years from start to finish and 23 months in I 485 stage. My details are --

PD: 03/99
RD: 11/01
ND: 11/01
FP (self): 03/03
FP (spouse): 05/03

RFE issued on 6/26. With spouse RFE failed to reach lawyer for unknown reason have to submit two separate response. The last response reached BCIS in last week of July.

I wish everybody on this forum good luck to get the approval fast. I will also be back with my stamping details.

The RFE was due to gap between H1B covered by I94. A copy of i 94 was sufficient to prove legal status during the period.

No change of address and no change of job since beginning.
