I-485 Applicant Vs Spouse

Hi Everybody.
I have a simple question to ask. It it possible that when you file for I-485 your that the primary applicant's 485 getsapproved and Spose remains pending?

Anybody had this experience?

Any information will be helpful.

I got my 485 approval emails yesterday. But There is none for my wife's case,
it is still pending. I am the primary applicant and her case is derivate adjustment.

I am also in similar situation. I applied I-485 on 06/06/06. I received for myself and my daughter permanent resident card on 10/10/06 and for younger daughter(<14 Yr) I-485 approval notice. For my wife I did not receive permanent card nor there is any update. Would appreciate anyone having similar experience.

I485 Principal applicant v/s Derivative

I know some one whose case was transferred to local USCIS and Primary applicant's petition was approved during interview and his wife had to again go thru Medical Examination due to some mistake of USCIS certified civil surgeon. Their approvals were atleast 4-6 months apart.
