I-485 (Private employer) and current job with a State govt.

Hello all
My 485 was filed in Jan 2003 and I changed my job in April 2004 from the private company to a Government job. My attorney received an RFI on April 21, 2005 requesting a letter of current employment and employer's financial ability. We were able to arrive at a format for the employment letter, but my attorney has no experience with how to format a letter regarding employer's financial ability where the employer is a Government employer, in this case a State.

Could any of you guide me here as to how to format such a letter. Here is what the attorney sent me. Please note, this not a 'company' and the employer (who is authorized to employ me) is a Data Processing Manager and not a CFO.

I don't know about the state job but usually you have to furnish the following documents for such RFE's

1. Evidence to establish that new employer has the ability to pay the proffered wages. Latest annual report, Current US Federal Income Tax Return, Bank statement, where the revenue come from, Your W2 (showing annual salary paid to you), Audited current financial statements etc etc, the more the better. I received similar RFE but I work for private company and provided similar documents and my I-140 was approved.

There was a memo from Mr. yates last year (may 2004) regarding this.

Thanks

But the problem is that I work for a State Govt. Agency and I don't know how financial documents apply to these entities. Hence my post here.
