i-485 and i-765 transfer case, help needed

Hi gurus,
I am working in california, i substituted a labor in atlanta(comes
under texas center. my company has an office in atlanta too, i am relocating
soon to atlanta).
My lawyer filed I-140 in september 03 correctly in Texas and it is pending.
Then in December 03 lawyer filed I-485 and I-765 wrongly in California
( Lawyer filed to california center-jurisdiction near to my place of residence
(california), though my labor substitution in Texas). Because of
this my i-485 and i-765 have WAC tracking numbers. In Feb 04 the California
center transferred both I-485 and I-765 both to texas correctly and
sent transfer notices to me. In April of 04 I received fingerprint notices
for i-485 and done. I have following questions.
1. Does my receipt date now changes to Feb
(the transfer date to texas?), though i filed I-485 and I-765 in december?
2. My I-765 not approved yet(though texas center is processing
,filed in March 05), could this be because of the transfer mess?
3. I have WAC numbers (that california center issues) for I-485
and I-765 though both were transferred to texas center.
I would think i should get SRC number that texas center issues correct?
If anyone gone through this kind of experience. Gurus in the forum,
please help out

3. Texas center's case numbers are now defining your case ND. Forget other number.

thanks for your reply! Can you please elaborate on your answer to
quesiton 3? Does it mean the texas center will process with the WAC numbers and does not issue SRC numbers to my I-485 and I-765 anymore? Because of this transfer case, do i need to expect significant
delays? in my GC processing?

You must have got a number from Texas. It should be in format:

WAC-AA-BBB-CCCCC

AA is the year in which case was put in system and BBB is the working date of that year, CCCCC being your case number. Your case will be processed as per BBB date for year AA. How much delay will be there - you will have to check in Taxas threads!

I have WAC-AA.. number from california as i-485 and i-765 were filed
in california. But after california transferred it to texas i donot have,
SRC-AA..(texas gives SRC-... numbers). Texas didnot give issue me
a new number of the SRC format. I hope my case is not stalled until texas
gives number of SRC format. I hope they still honour the california number! Thanks for your reply!

You will surely get another number from Texas. Send a Fax enquiry about the same. Your old case number will not be applicable for Texas.

Texas Consolidated I140 Tracker

We have many threads running for Texas I140 and I485 cases. Don’t you think we can save time and efforts by posting only to one thread for all our questions and concerns for I140 and I485? I propose "Texas Consolidated I140 Tracker" to be the common thread. Do you agree with me?
