I-485 and I-140 in different locations

Hi,
I got my LC and I-140 approved from TSC and moved to CA now. So can i apply for my I-485 in CSC. If so, will there be any RFE from CSC regarding this. Please post if u or any of ur friends applied in similar fashion.

I got my LC and I-140 from VSC and then filed
I-485 in CSC.

I work in VSC region, but lawyer told me that
I could file in either VSC or CSC as my company
is based in CSC region. He suggested CSC and I
accepted it.
 
usually, 485 is filed in the service center which has jusrisdiction over place of employment (future employment). Same goes with I-140, but some companies has this agreement with INS to consolidate and send all their petitions to one service center irrespective of the location of actual job.

I have notices one thing though. If you file 485 with a service center which does not have jurisdiction over your place of living, they send you file (usually) to the local INS office of the area where you live.
 
Some of my colleagues filed in CSC and others in
VSC. Both service center approved their cases.
Mine is at CSC at last stage ( got RFE)

goodsaint, you are right. It may be special
arrangemnt between INS and my employer.
