Hi i visited US in 2001 at the age of 16 and attended school for a semester on B1/B2 visa without knowing that i am not supposed to as i told the college that i am on visit visa still they let me as a international student. i came back with no over stay but when i was visiting again in 2002 they didnt let me in and sent me back by canceling my 5 year multiple entry visa as i was not supposed to study there. they said we are not banning to re enter USA it will voluntarily deportation, i was 17 at that time so didnt know much of legalities n i came back with a stamp on my passport saying 1-275 executed. now i have relatives there n i tried to apply for visa last year they refused it without listening to anything stating that i have a record with homeland sec dept. Please advise me what to do how should i get a visa... does it help that i was 17 at that time... somebody have advised me to go to a lawyer... how will this help???
