I came to country on a B1 Visa.
Later got my H1B done. Since that I am on H1B Status but don’t Have H1B STAMP on my passport.
In the mean time My company filed for GC , Luckily I got my I-140 cleared and I-485 is more than an year old. I also have Advance parole and EAD.

My question is can I go to My country and Come back to US ?, I don’t have the H1B Stamp Ever I just have the AP.

yes as long as you have a valid AP and your 485 won't get denied while abroad

Hi JustGC007,
Yup, you can go if your AP is valid and your I-485 is still pending. I think there should not be any problem. Just carry 3 -4 photocopies of ur AP because you will need them.

I-140 Receipt Number

Hi Folks,

I need help regarding how to find I-140 Petition / receipt number as neither my employer nor atttorney who has filed doesn't want to give it to me as they claim that it will give company information et al and the company is confidential. But most of friends has the numbers and in the forum I read and everybody got them. Can anyone let me know how to find the number? I found that even "Freedom of Information Act (g-639)" doesn't help in this matter.

11/07/05 - calles USCIS and started enqurity on I140 and it
takes one month to get the feedback)


Any one knows why delay on my I140?
