I-140 - Waiting for almost a year OR more...

Hi Folks,
The JIT dates have passed my I-140(filed on Feb-03-2004) filing date long back. My lawyer filed an enquiry about 2 months back but no reply from USCIS. Not seeing too many I-140 approvals these days. California_gc got 140 approved - thats a good sign.
Folks who are waiting for almost a year or more on I-140 please post your details here so we can track progress. Good luck with your case

In the Same Boat!

Even I am in the same boat. I filed my I140 in January, 2004 and I485 in April, 2004. No RFE's so far.

I filed in Jan. 2004, EB2, no RFE, no response.

fyi, I track all I140 cases which were filed on Feb 10, 2004. About 80% of them are already either approved or in RFEs. You should open 2nd inquiry and it did work for me. I think my second I485 inquiry triggered adjudication.

Ive been waiting for 16 mths, RD 09/16/2003, RFE 06/19/2004, reply recd ny USCIS 08/09/2004, since then no updates ?

My 485 was filed a few days back, is it recommended that my employer initiate an enquiry ?

I just checked with my lawyer. She has the opinion that there is no proven connection between inquiry and approval. But it doesn't hurt to file an inquiry.
