Hi I would like to start a new discussion thread on all I-140 waiters with ND on or before Feb 2002

My details
RD : 01/29/2002 (Labor substitute)
ND : 02/04/2002
AD : Still waiting
EAC# : EAC-02-102-#######

Spoke to attorney. Says case may take as much as 6 mos.

Any similar cases please post here.

whats the RFE on your case??..as my rd is 02/27/02(eb2-B+5)..haven\'t heard anything yet..but my attorney says since its taking long time there could be RFE..
 
No RFE , nothing

I haven\'t received any RFE as yet. The message has not change still says " It is taking between 150 and 240 days blah blah blah ..."

Guys. my lawyer is strongly advicing against Consular processing even though I had applied for CP and file has gone to NVC.

Reason being shortening times between NVC and 1-485. However I am inclined to go with NVC. My 6 year limit expires in Oct 2002.

Any pointers as to the course of action is much appreciated

Can we talk to somebody at VSC to find out why are they delaying us ? It is really frustating to see people file in late March and getting approved.

My case strangely sleeping in INS hands. AVM says they received
reply to RFE on April 15th. No action so far. I called iNS on
Friday but they decline to provide any information for privacy.
Anyone facing similar situation?
