Hello fellow GC seekers--

Today is my day to share the great news with you. My I-140 was approved today!!! I literally could not believe it and I had to check the UCSIS website 3 x before the news sunk in. Here are the details of my case:

EB3 I-140 RD: 6/28/2004 AD: 8/20/2004, opted for consular processing
LC RIR

I am a healthcare worker (non-nurse, non-physician). I work for a big non-profit company. There should have been no question on my educational equivalence (and indeed I received no RFE), 4-yr BSc, 2-yr MSc degree in the field + 9-years experience.

I sincerely hope for the rest of you who are still waiting that your good news will come soon. Thank you.

Excellent!! My cousine's I140 is denied and appealed. While we wait for the answer, we're thinking about re-applying his I140. Congrats.
If he gets approved, he has opted for CP also. He's currently in India. Please keep me posted with CP(thanks in advance) as I absolutely do not know much about the procedure in CP.

Sure. I will post my experience in the CP thread. I will be going through Montreal though. From others' CP experience, I hear it's a pretty simple (and much faster) process. The only caveat is that if by chance the interview goes sour, there's no way to appeal. However, if the criminal record and medicals are clear, there's really very little probability for denial.
