I-140 status for concurrent filing

I have filed for I-140 and I-485 as per the following -\
USCIS Received date - 04/30/04
Notice date - -5/12/04
I am not sure whether do we need to follow the USCIS processing times list published every month or some thing else, because my attorney/ employer has informed that we are filing under pilot project program
Does any one have any info on this
 
changing employer

for concurrent filers -
to change emplyer and get the benefit of AC 21 portability- do we have to wait for I-140 to be approved or can we move to new employer after 180 days of filing I-140 and I-485.
I have my EAD and AP approved.

Wait till 140 is approved.
