I-140 rfe and I-485 Rfe

Hi Guys,

I got rfe on I-140 on 05/04/04, my lawyer has not yet responded. rfe is about employer financial position. yesterday i got rfe on I-485, I don't knw what will be rfe on I-485 ? Did any one knw about ths ? Please share thr opnion...

I think that what this means is that you will probably be approved in the next couple of months and within 14 month or so of filing your I 140, as it looks like your I140/485 are going to be adjudcated at the same time as per new USCIS guidelines

your lawyer should file reply to rfe asap

Humm...
So they started working on July'03 cases. This means that very soon we are going to see Oct'2003 cases getting RFE/approval while the Oct'01 cases gather dust and Oct'02 cases wait for FP2. So we will have triple confusion from now (On any given day we will see approvals for 3 different years but the same month RD).

I am pretty sure that this is good as I think they are working according to new guidelines o/w no way they would have looked at you 485 at this time. So you might be lucky and I wish you best of luck in getting both 140 and 485 approved.

My 140/485 ND is 7/15/03 and they havent touched any of it. I am still waiting

Lawyer responded on 06/07/04.
Last update on my case has not changed.
I dont think I will get to hear anything from them till atleast 2 to 4 weeks.

Did you get your I-140 Approved ?

So INS started issuing RFE for I485 cases filed in August'2003. Most likely these people will get approval before this August (within 1 yr) while those who have filed in 2002 (and late 2001) will wait for 2+ yrs for their approval. What a way to reduce backlogs.

Hi Sanju_y678,
I got rfe around the same time that you recived your rfe for I140(05/07/2004).The RFE for I140 never reached to me but instead went to DOL asking for a copy of my labour certificate.The DOL has responded to it and my I140 got approved on 06/01/04.

This morning I checked the online status which shows that on 10th of May the INS has sent a RFE on my I485.Did you get your RFE as of today.Please post the details.I have no idea what it could be?

No finger printing yet.

This might be good news for you as your case is touched. I have seen in your post that your 140 is approved.
If you have your FP done then you r chances of getting approved are really good. Don't worry Be Happy. :) As your situation is really not worst.

Congrates on ur I-140 Approval.
My lawyer has gone for conference from last weeks. So I don't know whether they recd it or not. She has not responded for my I-140 rfe yet. May be by god bless , she will file ths week. I will let you knw once I receive my I-485 rfe. Be in Touch....
