I-140 redo-----Got a receipt within a week

My lawyer sent all required papers for my I-140 redo on September 28th and he got a receipt from INS on 5th October(He sent me a copy of that yesterday). I am eagerly wating for my approval.

By the way, my details are

EB2 RIR PD 9/97
I-485 RD 4/99
I-485 ND 5/99
EAC-99-166-xxxx
RFE for I-140 redo due to company name change on 9/7/00
Lawyer replied on 28th September
Receipt received from INs on 5th October

I am in the same boat. Atleast you got the receipt. I have sent mine on 22nd. Have no clue what is going on. I planing to call both my attorney and INS.

 I am just curious how INS knew the company name change? Did you submit 485 after the company name change? Could you clarify?

I had to do the same thing. In my case, the name on approved 140 and the (standard) letter that was sent at the time on filing of 485 was different

alpoor : The receipt which you received from INS is the I140 receipt notice or is it different..
