I-140 receipt

Hi,

My company has filed I-140 for me, but they are not willing to do it concurrently with I-1485. I decide to file I-485 by myself with only I-140 receipt number instead of the copy of receipt. Will this be ok? Has anyone had the same experiences?

I am in the same boat as yours , don't worry also lot of my colleagues here have done the same thing and it seems to have worked fine for them

Thanks for your reply. I appreciated it. Do you mean INS will still process my I-485 as well as EAD and AP even just get the I-140 receipt number? This is really good news to me. Thanks!

Have you also filed your I-485 with only I-140 receipt number? Have you got your receipt for I-485? Did you apply I-131and EAD with your I-485?

YOurs is EB-2 mine is EB-3
By the way what is your 140 LIN#
I mean by first 5 digits
That way i know which applications are they clearing
Mine is LIN 03-049-5XXXX
