I am going to file my I-140. Is it mandatory to mention about my previous I-140 in the application. Please reposnd .

Hi,

I have a question too regarding the I-140?. Can we apply for dual I-140 like
once we apply through the PERM labor and later the OLD LABOR through BEC gets approved. Can we again re-apply through it to get the old PR DATE (priority date).

Do you have any information on this. Please reply

Part 4, item 6 of I-140 reads, "Has any immigrant visa petition ever been filed by or on behalf of this person?", so the answer is yes (don't forget to attach explanation). Many people file I-140s in more than one category (and often get all of them approved), so answering "yes" shouldn't be a problem. Good luck!
 
H1 extension while I-140 is pending

Can I get my H1 extend if my I-140 application is pending but not approved. If so then for how long H1 will be extended ? I know one can get 3 year extension with approved I-140 and one year with pending labor. But not sure what happens to people in my situation ?

These days , how much time it takes to get I-140 receipt notice ?
One needs receipt notice to file for I-485 , right ?
 
Nsc is taking 3-4 weeks to issue receipts these days.
