I-140 processing times currently

I had filed my I-140/485/EAD/I-131 with ND of 12/17/02. I completed my fingerprinting on 3/4/03 and got the AP on 3/10/03.
EAD was received on 3/11/03.
My question is as to how long will it take for my I-140 application to be approved. Seems like April 2002 is being processed currently.
Is it true? A friend of mine got his 140 approved in 2 months(filled it in August 2002) ...he applied it seperately and filed it in Michigan.
Do things change so drastically from area to area.
Any thoughts and comments would be appreciated.

ya....heard the april thing too and cannot figure out whom to ask...I filed in Vermont...June 2002 and am still waiting.....thats already 9mths....longer than it takes to bring a child into this world...let me know if you hear anything

I also filed in June 02 in EB2 cat. Do you also also filed in EB2?
