I'm glad to inform you that my I-140 NIW application was approved this afternoon (2PM) and around 8PM I received email for the approval of my I-485 along with my wife's.

Details:
EB2-NIW
140/485 RD 2/12/03
FP 6/19/03
140 RFE 6/7/04 (Q about the move from Houston to Seattle: I provided the current letter of employment and the job descriptions to show that they are the same.)
RFE acknowledged 7/7/04
140/485 AD 8/12/04

It took exactly 18 months from RD to AD.

Congratulations!

This is obviously great news for everyone who has recent concurrent cases at CSC. They indeed are speeding up the processing. Of course that's still slower than the processing times of 2002 - 2-3 months for I-140, and 11 months for I-485, for those who don't remember.

Of course this is not such a great news for the folks who have old cases, since this faster processing is done at their expense. Also, it indicates that there's a complete breakdown of processing order and schedule, so now there's simply no way to tell when the case will be processed be it recent or old filing.

his center is TSC, not CSC

Re: his center is TSC, not CSC

Yeah, but it only makes what I said true for everyone, not only CSC.
