Finally got the magic mail from USCIS today.. as a Christmas Gift.
Thanks Everyone and immigration.com portal was very helpful.

I tried to get the appointment by infopass.. it says
"At this time, there are no information appointments available for the office in your area. Please try back again later. "

Does that mean it doesn't have local center or .....

Labor filed : April'02 and Approved July'03
I-140 - ND-10/8/03 - rfe ( received nov.29'04) - Educational Evalution - Replied and received date 12/16/04
Approved date 12/22/04
I-485 - Nd -12/05/03 - Rfe( received nov.29'04) - Secondary Evidence of birth and parentage/ Replied and received date 12/16/04
Approved date 12/22/04
Wife I-485 no Rfe.. Approved date 12/22/04

This comment means you need to keep on trying. It may be busy, so try a little later. It happened to me too, and that's what I did. It worked ater that day.

Can you share with us what you included as secondary evidence for Birth/Parentage ? Looks like I have been asked the same questions.

Also, I would like to know whether one appointment is enough for both me and wife or I need to get two appointments .
 
i guess u need two. even if u get it for different times take them . Once u get tot e officer's window u can request the two of u to be processed together and they will do it. But two appts are necessary.

Normally one appointment is sufficient for 2 persons of the same family.

Aren't you waiting to get the approval notices before making an appointment? If not, how many days do you leave out? Can one go for stamping without the approval notice?

I would like to clarify like what we need to select in the info pass appointment
like " select type of appointment".. I selected..

"You have received an approval letter or Form I-797C from the Service Center or local office instructing you to come into the office for alien identification card processing / passport stamp."

Please confirm me.
