I-140/I-485 and marriage

I am on H1B. My I-94 is valid till May 2004. My company's lawyer had filed for my I-140/I-485 in June 2003 along with EAD and Advance Parole. Lawyer got the receipts from BCIS for I-140/I-485/I-765/I-131 in July 2003. I did not get EAD or Advance Parole yet.

My questions are:

1 - Considering my I-94 is valid till May 2004, do I have to use Advance Parole to re-enter into US if I leave the country for a short vacation?

2 - I am planning to get married in India during Nov-Dec 2003 period. Is it possible to bring my wife into US on H4 visa? Will she get an H4 visa easily?

3 - Do I have to follow any precaution so that after marriage (in Nov-Dec 2003) my wife will get an H4 visa easily?

4 - Any words of wisdome in this regard would be highly appreciated.

Thanks.

No, but you will need a valid H-1 visa stamp to re-enter.

If you have not used your EAD and your H1 is still valid, then you can bring her in on H4. Unless she is statutorily inadmissible for criminal convictions or overstay, it should be no problem at all.

Keep your H1 alive until your wife enters the US.

Yes, I have a valid H-1 visa stamp on my passport which is valid till May 2004.

Thank you very much TheRealCanadian. I truely appreciate your input in this regard.

Thanks!
