I - 140 Finally Approved after 19 months!

My I-140 (EB-2 non-RIR) filed in the May of 2002 finally got approved by TCS after 19 months. The original receipt notice said it will take about 175 -200 days. It was a long long wait. I am very happy that it is over now!

Congratulations for I140 approval and good luck with 485. Can you post some more details like any RFE's, job title etc.

There was no RFP or anything. It is for a software engineering position. I - 485 filed in August of 2002 and recently got 2nd EAD card. Let us hope that INS will speed up the I-485 process. Have not received notice for Finger printing yet.
