I-140 Filed After Oct 25 ? Did Any body get the Receipt ?

Work permit

I am waiting for approvingg my 140 now, and I was told that after that I can apply the work permit for my wife. Can I apply the work permit for her in anyone state which the precessing time just within one week, or I have to apply for that in the state which my work locate. Your response would be greatly appreciated.

I got the EAC#

I got the EAC number today.
I140 papers was received by INS on Oct 26.
Got the EAC# on 12/06/2001.
RD 11/05
ND 11/15
EAC 02-038-5XXXX
 
Mailed on Oct. 29 Still Waiting for a receipt.

Is there anybody else out there who is still waiting for the receipt for mailout date on or before Oct. 29?

did anyone still waiting for the receipt which file around 11/19? My lawyer said that he got the fed. receipt back already, but no INS receipt. Why it takes so long to get the receipt?
