I-140 Feb '05 cases - EB2

wow..congrats...

Hi sudigadu...congrats..hope u get all by monday.good luck...we have not got anything yet...no lud's also and our cases are similiar..still hanging there....

Just got the news. My I-140 was approved.

140 RD- 03/06/05
140 AD- 06/06/05

But no update on the 485. I did apply them concurrently.
 
Looks like CSC is now processing 140 and 485 seperately (non-concurrently) though they were filed concurrently. If you see May 18 processing dates 140 is at Feb 1 while 485 is at Jan 3. Don't know why this sudden change. Is this due
to EB3 Retrogression? I wish they process 485 as fast as they process 140.
 
I think there are multiple factors to it -
First is that there may be more than one 485 applications with one 140.
Other may be that CSC have processed those I140 cases for January, which are filed non concurrently.
I know there are always exceptions to the rule, but my gut feeling is, that they wait for both(I140 and I485) being entertained, before come up with LUD/Approval/RFE.
What you guys say?
 
I think Velailla is right, CSC started to process 140 and 485 seperately even we applied them concurrently. I just received a copy of the 140 approval from my boss. I was expecting that my and my wife's 485 would come with 140 together.

Any comments?
 
randomly distributing

I think they randomly distributed the cases to different officers and hence we are seeing this abnormal approvals. Wishes and Good Luck to them and those who are waiting on approvals.
 
anyone applied 140&485 concurrently in 2005 and got both approved at the same time? I don't think there are such people since CSC seems to start processing them seperately. thanks

I've a friend who applied on Dec 15, 2005 and got I-140/485 approved on same day (485 for his wife too). 3 emails were just few seconds apart.

the action behind the LUD on 06/08/05 for your I-140 must be an approval. You are the only one left in the list. I think, 'sudigadu' must have got his approval as he got his wife's I-485.

I think sudigadu is the only one who applied in 2005 got the approval on 485 in this forum. right?

Thanks, and 485 also approved at the same time - 6/1,
got the approval notice and its updated online on 6/08
