Hello y\'all. My I-140 has finally been approved. Sadly, the INS has listed me for adjustment of status while I was planning for consular porcessing in Hong Kong to avoid the long delay. Instead of sending the I-140 back to INS for correction, do I have any other options? Somebody please help.

Yes, change to CP if you want to

You need to file an I-824. Processing times for an I-824 vary from a month or two, to a year or two. It\'s also possible, with some consulates to do an attorney certified I-140 and proceed with consular processing before the I-824 is processed (of course, you need an attorney to do this). Speak with the attorney handling your case for specific informations since there are many variables.
