You can check "case status" online at www.uscis.gov

If an approval notice has been lost, the petitioner can request a duplicate approval notice via form I-824.

Unless you are a self-petitioner, I-140 notices go to the employer. Check with petitioning employer.

Unless you are a self-petitioner, you are not an affected party for FOIA purposes (or appeals or motions on a petition).
