I -140 cleared in 20 days

HI all,

My 140 got cleared in 20 days on oct 3rd, still i did't receive packet 3.How long it will take to receive packet3.
Do i need photos and police certificate during submission of packet 3.

How can i tell consulor to send packet4 to my local indian address?.

Your help is appreciated.

Congrats! that some quick response from INS.....
You can call NVC at 603-334-0700, and get to an operator by entering some bogus case number. You can give your I-140 receipt number, and they can tell you if the case has been received by them.
Then you can ask them about pkt3. For pkt3 you do not need any additional documents (more than those required by I-140).
Once NVC receives pkt3 from St. Louis (you need to send filled forms + Fees to St. Louis), NVC reviews your case, and forward the case to the appropriate consulate. You need to keep in contact with the consulate for the interview date.....

This will help me more.
But i did not submit any documents for 140 my lawer did every thing.
I did not have birth certifcates for me and my wife at the time of filing 140, i have those now.Do i need to submit copy of birth certificates at the time of packet 3.
Could you please give the list of documnts to be attached along with packet 3.

Hi krishnatrk,

In my case, I did not have to send any documents along with pkt3, just the Ds230 part1, and I-140 approval copy.... i guess,
I did see people sending marriage cert. but you need to do that if your spouse is not on I-140....
So, you just need to wait for your pkt3.....

Just make sure you have DOB cert, or affidavits & non-availability cert, PCC ..... and sit tight until you get your interview date....
