I-140 check while renewing EAD

I plan to apply for EAD renewal. Is it possible that BCIS will look into the company financials in the 140 application again while issuing EAD or would they just issue a EAD renewal and not even look at the 140 application?
My 140 is not yet approved.

----- I don’t think they will look at I-140 papers when issue renewal of EAD as I-140 the file may be in storage and different unit issues the EAD and base for EAD is pending I-485 and you are going to attach copy of I-485 receipt
