I have applied under EB2-NIW. While my lawyer filed I-140 for me, I have filed I-485, 765, 131 by myself. All the applications was submitted in this July-August season.

I am wondering if I can request a change of address so that all the letters (RFE etc) regarding my I-140 directly come to me (at least a copy). Actually my physical address (same house) will be the same (as given in 140), just wanted to change the address of correspondence with USCIS (to me instead of my lawyer). Is there any time restriction for that such as I can only request a change of address only after 60 days or so? Also, I would like to know if the USCIS send a copy of the RFE or approval letter to the applicant (along with the lawyer) or they just send one copy to the lawyer.

Please help. Thank you very much, in advance.

Did you sign a G-28 form for your lawyer to be able to represent you for 140? I think you should have signed that, anyway, now you need to submit another G-28 for yourself. Once this new G-28 takes effect, you will be representing yourself and all further correspondence for 140 "should" come to you (not guranteed).

if you are the beneficiary, you cant represent yourself. I-140 has nothing to do with beneficiary. it is solely between the employer and USCIS.

What you are saying is true for EB3. I am not too sure, but I think for EB2-NIW, you do not need an employer to file your LC and 140. 140 is directly filed by the candidate.
