I-140 Backlogs after Labor Backlogs

Guys have you thought about this, when these 400,000 LC applications from the Backlog Centers gets thru there'll be a back log build up at the I-140, so probably they'll open backlog centers to deal with the I-140 backlogs. We are in for a long haul.

I dont think so. we have 400,000 LC applications but not all are cleared in 1 day. They are spread over 2yrs as of now and I think it will take over another yr minimum. Also LC's are processed in 2 centers where as I140 is in 4 centers. Chances are if most of the LC cleared in a particular period fall under one center then that center will be effected.

If you look at it that way than these labors were being processed in atleaset 20 centers but still such huge Backlog was created and it took them years before they realized they need to do something. And everybody knows what they did !!!! they created more chaos, seeked more documents, looked more stupid(45 days letter is a perfect example) created further backlogs and more backlogs for 1000s for whom dates were pretty much okay.
so number of center is not what counts, what counts is how much prepared they are to handle this kind of volume. And as legal immigration in not on wish list of U.S. government right now, I will be surprised if they have any plans for handling this kind of volume when they get it.

guys,

if anybody is still thinkin about getting a green card soon, i would say he is dreaming. why? simple. no visa numbers for most categories and soon even The EB-2 worlwide will be backlogged, this not to mention the huge delay at the backlog centers:after 1.5 yrs of work, they didn't even issue 1/3 of the 45 days letters, although i expect most of the time consuming work will be the adjudication of each case.
To make things worse, after many attempts to increase the visa numbers, the conservative right wing always come up with excuses to prohibit increasing the numbers. and those guys will not be out of power for at least another yr, if not more.don't forget the bright planning and efficiency that USCIS always showed.

in summary, i already waited 3 yrs for the green card and i don't c anything in the horizon before another 5 yrs. this means another 5 yrs at least with same employer and same post. it is goin nowhere.

an advice: look for alternatives.
