I-140 Approved [EB-2]

I got my 140 approved on 02/03/2005. Received automated mail from USCIS.

Case Details:

Got RFE for "ability to pay" and response was received on 01/28/05. LUD on 01/31/05 and 02/01/05.

Till yesterday, Telephonic enquiry says - sytem problem in getting the status of I-140. & online status shows that they received the RFE response on 01/28.

I had the same problem before 12/01/2004 with the automated telephonic status enquiry [ system problem ] and it was set right on 12/01/04 once they issued the RFE.

With the Approval, now I am sure that automated telephonic message system gives you more accurate status. If it says some problem in retrieving the information then it is an indication that someone may be working on your case ....may be RFE ....may be approval. It is purely my belief.

Hi vinugupta94,

Yes. I clearly told that it is purely my observation based on the information from my friends and my own personal experience. There are always exceptions.

All the best.

Congratulations!!!!! StatusFinder,

After a long time I am seeing an approval in EB2 category. Hopefully many more will follow you. I also hope that u'll get your 485 approval pretty soon.

just now i called the number it says system problems for my 140 (3/22) and 485(7/12). hopefully they're working on my cases.

Wang2Mazi, Is yours EB2 or EB3 case? Thanks!

I am only noticing approval of I-140 's for EB2 cases getting approved. Are any EB3 I-140's getting approved those filed in 2003 and 2004.

unluckiest,
u r right, EB2 getting approved lot in CSC while in Vermont EB3 getting approved like anything.
So its bad luck for EB3 guys in CSC.

rb180,
09/19/03 - I-140 (no rfe nothing till today)

Unluckiest,

Your I140 RD matches to mine, did you do any inquiries so far? What was the reply from prior inquiries OR was your I-140 stuck in following status?

“This is a substitution case. Until the original file, along with the original ETA 750, is received back, this case cannot be processed. The file has been requested. Thank you for your patience and cooperation.”

Thanks

Nope.My status shows that original message only when it was filed that it would take 360-360 days to process such cases.
I have'nt had any RFE till now.Only LUD changes

Nope.I dont think so I'll become lucky. The LUD changing to 2/18/2005 from 2/8/2005 was caused because of fax enquiry done by my lawyer and the reply he got was normal
"Your application is pending review and additional system checks. You will be
notified by mail once a decision has been made. Thank you."
