I-140 Approved

Today the online status page indicated that my I-140 has been approved by the Texas Service Center. It was submitted in EB-1 (OR) category in June 2003 - after exactly 13 months it got approved. It was not a concurrent filing - now I have to file for the 485 and other stuff. I wish other people in line for their success.

Thanks for all of you guys who indirectly helped me in planning my entire procedure.

Congratulations! Great to see your I-140 is approved.
Why you didn't do concurrent filing, maybe it's a wise decision, see, I am concurrent filing RD: Mar/11/2003, even I-140 is not approved yet.

I did not do concurrent as I was not sure at the time of applying for I-140 through my University. I guess it hardly matters if concurrent or not (in my case at least as I have my H-1 valid till 2008 June) - now I will apply for I-485 and other formalities. Let them take their time!

I wish you all good luck - I am sure approvals are on their way for all of you.

I've received the confirmation email from USCIS about my I-140 approval.
My I-140 approved on 07/14/2004.
Details:

I-140 RD :02/19/2003 - Approved on 07/14/2004

I-485 RD : 04/25/2003 - Pending

FP was done in August 08, 2003.

Advance Parole and EAD approved twice.

I wish you all the best for all whoever is waiting for the I-140 approval.
