My EB2 I-140 got approved recently. My orig PD is Aug 2004 and country of birth is India.......can I file for I-485 or do I have to wait?

There is a long wait buddy! You could have filed if ur PD was before mid 2002.

Can I not atleast file the I-485? whether they choose to process it or not is a different issue.....can I get an EAD after 6 months of filing?
you cant do anything until 485 is current for your country .
