I-140 Approved today (online status)

My guess is that you won't be getting an RFE now. These guys generally go through the papers initially before approving your EAD, so there are more chances of getting an RFE before you get your EAD.

You'll hopefully get the approval soon as things are going faster in VSC lately.

Hi Rotny

I would suggest that you go to your lawyer and ask him for copies of the RECEIPT NOTICES ( if it's a problem going personally to him, tell him to fax it to you)

Even though he is filing for you, he is supposed to give you either copies of the notices or at least the EAC numbers of all your applications so that you can track them online.

Please do make this call - this is important - He cannot refuse you.

Did they give you any timeframe on your RFE to respond back to BCIS?

and what timeframe they gave you on RFE letter to process your petition and also no.of days to (wait) call back BCIS after receiving the respons to your RFE if you haven't heard anything about the status of your petition?

Please advise.

Yes, the RFE said "........ If you have not heard from us within 60 days then you may contact this office at (802) 527-4913......."

As you are aware, that phone no. is not in service now.
