My I-140 got Approved. Here are the details.

I-140 EB3 Non-Concurrent

I am going to apply for I-485 soon.

Why you didn't apply for 485 along with 140? You lost 10 months of valuable 485 processing time. What were you thinking?

Goodluck with your I-485 filing.

May be you needed a faster I-140 approval as you have not applied for your I-485. Congratulations.

Lots of others, from earlier dates, need I-140 approvals to use AC21 and/or to feel safer. Why don't VSC process all I-140s quick enough, so that none of us has to go thru all these ordeals? :D

The reason being my company has this policy of not applying I-140/I-485 concurrently.

Stupid policy

May be some thing to do with his clumsy employer :eek:

I am glad "shatan" got it now, unlike "snowbell" who is still waiting for his I-140 approval since May 02.

I do not see if there is any difference for fast approval of I140, if applied concurrently or successively. Might be one or two cases by luck, but it's not always true in every case.
 
Anyone any idea, how long it takes to get the approval notice approximately from the approval date. I want to see how prompt my company is informing me about the approval.

This is sure surprising! My RD is 02/11/03 and I am waiting! I am not complaining but still... how come you got it through so fast?!!? Just luck I guess..

I think they have started with EB3 now...
