Hi Guys,

My EB1EA I-140 was approved in 6 days after I sent in the RFE reply (TSC-self-petition).

Well, need to wait for the I-495 though.

Thank for all the input guys. It really helped a lot.

It means that if your PD is current, the 485 should get approved within 6 months of filing. Of course, both us are beyond that window already.

Congrats Aiming. It`s very quick. What was RFE about? Can u post ur credentials.

Tnx goviks.

My Credentials

Reviewed 6 journal articles
Citation index-not many

RFE
It was the general RFE requesting evidence for all the 10 points.
But as a response we claimed only 4 and overlooked the others.

1. Evidence of your original scientific, scholarly, artistic, athletic, or business-related contributions of major significance in the field; (Specify the areas of his work which are considered original contributions of major significance. How have other workers in the field benefited from the beneficiary’s influence?)
Got more letters from people I don't know

2. Evidence that you have performed in a leading or critical role for organizations or establishments that have a distinguished reputation; (How did the beneficiary stand apart from others in this occupation who worked for those individuals or organizations.)
Got letters from same references as in the original I-140

3. Evidence of your participation on a panel, or individually, as a judge of the work of others; (Describe how the beneficiary’s work as a judge or reviewer was outside the scope of his normal duties.)
Got letters from Editors

4. Evidence that material has been published about the beneficiary in professional or major trade publications or other major media; Include evidence of the national or international circulation of the publications that carried articles about the beneficiary, or clear evidence that those publications have a history of carrying articles about nationally or internationally renowned individuals.)

Lawyer wrote an explanation for this one

I think my lawyer did a good job with the cover letter and the response to the RFE. Credit goes to her. Paid 2700 as initial payment and 500 for RFE response. Worth the money. Thats what I think. I can sleep well today though there is a long wait for I-485.:eek:

Thanx aiming.
Good luck for rest of the process.

good job, with your LUDs on I485 it looks like you will get it soon. Your wait might not be longer.
All the best

Rama

Thank you

Thank you Rama and eb1today.:D:D

I do have one question . My I-485 is being updated but my wife's LUD is way back. Is this normal or do I have to be worried and do something like call TSC ....?:confused:

Pl. throw some light on this issue.
:eek::eek:
Tnx:

It was the same with the me too. As and when I had a service request, I had a LUD on my case but my wifes case was not touched. But when the approval was made I saw a LUD on my wifes case too.
I should also mention that even on the soft LUDs across the board, I did not see my wifes case having a LUD.
I guess it is a normal event.

good luck

Rama

It might be a "derivative effect", where in only the primary applicant will have LUDs and probably it should be applicable to wifes case too. Again this is only a theory.
