I-140 Approved, I-485 Pending, Can I change a job?

Hello Gurus,

My I-140 was approved on July 03, 2007. My I-485/I-765/I-131 Pending. If I get an very good opportunity can I change my job (After I get EAD)??? Is there any rule that I should work for sponsoring university until my GC is cleared?. Please send me any link which talks about rules and regulations after approved I-140.

legally you can find a job after 180 days of your 485 filed. but make sure that university does not have any problem. I had come across a situation where a university withdrew the petition while 485 pending and he spent 2 years in the court and eventually he succeeded.
