I-140 approved and new TN application

So my current company has sponsored my green card application and my I-140 has been approved. However, I cannot file 485 now since my priority date is not current yet (probably in another two years). I was wondering, if I have to find another job from a new employer, can I apply for a new TN? If I can, can I apply by mail?

Many years ago, it was decided, by both CBP and USCIS, that an approved I-140 would NOT prevent future TN renewals, or new TN applications, done either by mail, or at border. So, until you file I-485, it is as if nothing has happened immigration-wise.
